Interested in a Ropes Challenge Course for your group?
ROPES ADVENTURE COURSE
PRC staff facilitate groups with County Parks at the county Ropes Course where games and activities build teamwork, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and self-confidence.  Schools, churches, office groups, and others are welcome to access the resource.

The Palouse River Counseling (PRC) Challenge Course is based on the idea of Experiential Education, simply stated, the participants learn by doing.  The program is a series of team-oriented adventure games, group initiatives, and low and high element challenges.  All of these activities require the application of teamwork, group cooperation and problem-solving skills.

All activities are Challenge By Choice, which means each individual may choose their own level of participation and challenge.  The second way a group chooses their level of challenge is by demonstrated readiness.  There are a wide variety of fun and exciting challenges on the course.  As a group achieves success, new and more difficult challenges await.

In all of our activities, safety is our primary concern.  We are very proud of our excellent safety record.  Your attention to our Medical Information forms makes us better able to provide your group a safe and valuable program.
What to Bring:

  • A sack lunch (NO GLASS!)
  • Clothing appropriate to weather, cool mornings and warm afternoons
  • Gym shoes or light hikers.  No open toes!
  • No jewelry
  • Your completed paperwork

CHALLENGE COURSE COSTS
Our Challenge Course season is April through October.  The cost for each participant day is:  Adults—$20 and children K-12—$15.  The ideal group size is between 8 and 15 persons.  The day program is always planned around each group’s special needs and goals.  You don’t have to be in great shape to have a fun day on our course.  The course is perfect for friends, families or groups of any type that want to have fun and enjoy a great day of teamwork.
